THE GOAT (1921)

Starring silent film legend, Buster Keaton, this newly recut version (24 mins. in length) syncs with new/original music for an 18-piece ensemble by Scott Watson.

Commissioned by the New Holland Band (New Holland, PA), Dr. Kenneth Laudermilch, Director and premiered Summer 2023 in Lancaster, PA.

THE GOAT score, by Scott Watson, consists of: 2 Flutes, 2 Clarinets, Alto Sax, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, 2 Trumpets, French Horn, 2 Trombones, Tuba, 2 Violins*, Cello*, Percussion 1 (Drum Set) and Percussion 2 (Bells/Xylophone/Timpani).

*Each string part may be covered by 1 or more players as desired.
